The right winger takes a touch and beats his defender with a quick feint. He plays it to a teammate centrally, who drives forward before slipping a chip over the defense into the channel. The cross comes in toward the edge of the six-yard box where Gabi Morad is waiting.

The ball comes to Reese Crance on her own half. Real Colorado Olympico have been building attacks all game against Utah Surf without finding the breakthrough. Now Reese sees something her teammates haven't created yet: space ahead and a 1v1 opportunity.

Olly Coe stands over the ball on the edge of the penalty box. Four defenders in the wall. The goalkeeper is organizing his line.
